Market leader Latium to consolidate its premier position in cellular building products market

Consolidating its leadership in the cellular building products market, the Latium Group has decided the time is now right for Celuform Ltd to become a subsidiary of Latium Building Products Ltd alongside Kestrel-BCE Ltd. Paul Neilson, Managing Director of Kestrel-BCE will lead this newly combined centre of excellence business. The Latium Group of companies, which has an annual turnover in the region of £400 million, is involved in plastics extrusion, conservatory roof manufacture, glass processing, home improvement retailing and property.

Paul Neilson comments on this latest strategic milestone: “The synergy between the market, brand and manufacturing strengths of the two companies has long been recognised by distributors, specifiers, house builders and installers. This latest move is a formal acknowledgement of our commitment to the cellular building products market, ensuring we are in pole position to offer customers optimum levels of sharing best practice and product development, greater manufacturing and distribution efficiencies, and even better value for money. This in turn will result in even more added value for our distributors, and market relevant solutions for house builders, installers and specifiers, ensuring that the new business which represents the leading trade and specification brands of Kestrel, Celuform, BCE and Vekatrim, is in the right place to continue to build and reinforce our market leadership in the future. Andrew Wakelin, the MD of Celuform, will assist me in this process to ensure all customers along the entire supply chain will continue to receive the highest levels of service and optimum quality and choice of products now and in the future.”
