BCE STRENGTHENS TEAM WITH THREE NEW APPOINTMENTS

BCE Cellular Extrusions, manufacturer of PVC-UE roofline systems and associated products, has announced three new appointments to its team.

Richard Newby (38) joins the team as plant manager. Richard, an experienced manager with a track record of success in world class manufacturing techniques will take responsibility for all plant operations, quality control and logistics at BCE's manufacturing complex in Scunthorpe.

Stephen Thoburn (36) joins BCE as Area Sales Manager (Ireland). Stephen has extensive building products experience, most recently being employed by Brett Martin, and will have complete responsibility for the development of BCE's sales throughout the island of Ireland.

Scott Ashcroft (31) has recently joined the BCE team as Area Sales Manager for the North East. Prior to joining BCE, Scott was employed by Artex Blue Hawk as Area Sales Manager. Scott's career has provided him with extensive experience of the builders merchants sector.

Commenting on the four new appointments, Paul Neilson, managing director of HWBP Limited, BCE's parent company, said:

"In the 18 months since we acquired BCE the product and service offer that we've been able to make has been considerably enhanced. These three new managers will be of great help to us in growing our sales still further, as well as ensuring that we stay well ahead of the competition for service development and new products."
