BCE Cellular Extrusions, manufacturer of PVC-UE roofline systems and associated products, has announced a new appointment to its team.

Rob Hamblen (32) joins BCE as National Sales Manager. Rob lives in Southampton with his partner Sue and prior to joining BCE was employed by Duralay Limited, Europe's largest manufacturer and supplier of carpet underlay.

Rob was with Duralay for 12 years in which time he progressed his career from Sales Representative to Sales Manager, ultimately responsible for a team of 5 Sales representatives. Rob looked after a region covering the South East right up to Birmingham.

A change of industry and a desire to be involved in the construction industry are the main reasons for the career move. Rob was particularly impressed by the professionalism at BCE and more specifically, its manufacturing plant.

Commenting on the new appointment, Paul Neilson, managing director of HWBP Limited, BCE's parent company, said:

"We take great pleasure in welcoming Rob onto our team. Since we acquired BCE the product and service offer that we have been able to make has been considerably enhanced, I am sure he will be a great asset to us as we develop our sales still further."
