The new scheme will ensure that they

is estimated by the Quality Mark that
£4 billion worth of home improvements
is not done because of the fear of being
ripped off and poor workmanship. The
BCE Approved Installer Scheme is being
recreated to reassure those householders
that they can buy with confidence -
thereby providing a clear distinction
between the professional installer and
the minority whose activities have an
adverse and disproportionate affect
on the industry as a whole.
By
having the new BCE Approved Installer
accreditation indicates that a company
has technical abilities, financial
probity, health and safety compliance,
mandatory insurance backed guarantees
and a defined procedure for dealing
with complaints and problems.

material to ensure that it is industry
leading.
